How do I create a quote?
From your dashboard, click "New Quote". Describe the job in plain English — the more detail, the better. Add your price, customer details, and hit Send.
How do I send a quote to my customer?
After generating a quote, fill in the customer's name and either their email or phone number. Click "Send to Customer" to create a shareable link. You can then copy the link, share via WhatsApp, or download the PDF.
Can I edit a quote after generating it?
Yes. After the AI generates the quote, you can edit the scope, inclusions, exclusions, timeline, terms, and warranty before sending. Click any section to edit it.

How do I know if my customer opened the quote?
When a customer views your quote for the first time, the status changes to "Viewed" in your dashboard. You can see the exact date they opened it.
What happens when they accept or decline?
You'll get an email notification either way. If they decline, you'll see their reason (if they gave one). Accepted quotes can be marked as "Won" once the job is booked.
What's the automatic follow-up?
If a customer hasn't responded after 72 hours (or whatever delay you set in Settings), we automatically send them a polite follow-up email. You can customise the timing in Settings.
Pro features
What's VAT toggle?
When creating a quote, turn on "Add VAT (20%)" to automatically calculate and show subtotal, VAT, and total on the quote. Your customer sees the full breakdown.
What's the deposit field?
Add an optional deposit amount (e.g. "£500 deposit required to book"). It appears prominently on the quote so customers know what's expected upfront.
What are quote revisions?
If you need to update a sent quote (change the price, scope, etc.), click "Revise" on the quote. This creates a new version — the old one is marked as superseded and your customer sees a link to the updated version.
What's the AI Enhance feature?
After generating a quote, click "Enhance with AI" and choose a style: professional, detailed, concise, simple language, or persuasive. The AI rewrites the scope and terms in that style while keeping your content.

How do I add KeenQuote to my home screen? (iPhone)
Open keenquote.com in Safari. Tap the Share button (square with arrow), scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen". You'll get an app icon that opens KeenQuote like a native app — no App Store needed.
How do I add KeenQuote to my home screen? (Android)
Open keenquote.com in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu, then "Add to Home screen" or "Install app". You'll get an app icon on your home screen that opens KeenQuote in full-screen mode.
Is there a mobile app?
KeenQuote works as a web app that you can install on your phone (see above). It works just like a native app — full screen, fast, works offline for viewing. No app store download needed.
Account & billing
How do I upgrade to Pro?
In your dashboard, you'll see your quota bar showing how many free quotes you have left. Click "Upgrade" to go Pro — unlimited quotes, branded PDFs, auto follow-ups, and more.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Go to Settings and click "Cancel subscription" in the Danger Zone. No lock-in, no fees. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings and click "Export my data" — you'll get a JSON file with all your account info, quotes, and history. You can also export quotes as CSV from the Quotes view.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → "Delete my account". This permanently removes all your data. If you have a Pro subscription, it's cancelled automatically.
